Substance Abuse Prevention

This training helps educators and the learning community to recognize and understand current trends in youth and adolescents substance use. The training will help participants to identify signs and symptoms of substance use, understand the impact of substance use on youth and adolescents, and identify connections between educators and the learning community to help in the prevention of substance use. Together, educators and families can work to send strong and consistent messages to students about the use of alcohol and other drugs to increase prevention efforts.
