Fingerspelling (Online)

In this session, participants will discuss when fingerspelling is typically used by ASL signers.  We will discuss tips for expressive and receptive fingerspelling, how to handle special situations such as double letters, acronyms and alphanumeric expression along with English linguistic research on the frequency of certain letters, double letters and letter pairs which help expressively and receptively with sign language fingerspelling.

Session and session materials are partially funded by state or federal funds.
