This course takes a look defining and practicing the
different modes of sign language that fall under the Transliteration category
of the Sign Language Continuum.

Participants will be able to define what it means to transliterate into sign language modes/systems.

Participants will be able to identify 4 Transliteration modes/systems of signing.

Participants will be able to list the 3 main principles of Conceptually Accurate Signed English, Signed English; MSS, SEE and Cued Speech;

Participants will identify the relationship of ASL features in Transliterating modes/systems.

Participants will demonstrate introductory receptive and expressive skills in at least 2 different transliteration modes.
