Participants in this workshop will practice designing and scoring performance-based
assessments using the proficiency guidelines. They will consider ways to provide meaningful
feedback to students based on their performances and products that lead to their growth in
proficiency. Finally, participants will practice a process by which they will analyze and respond
to student assessment data.
Outcomes: Participants will be able to...
- demonstrate their knowledge of the ACTFL proficiency levels through scoring calibration,
- design real world performance tasks,
- provide meaningful feedback to students that contributes to their growth in proficiency, and
- analyze and respond to student data to lead to growth in proficiency.
