Join us to hear how to design and improve a district level Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) for Behavior in our MTSS-Behavior District Support Project. Participants will receive an overview of the project benefits and requirements. Participants may ask questions and learn how to apply to participate. If you are unable to attend register to receive the recording to determine if the project is a fit for your district.
The purpose of the project is to support districts exploring, implementing, and improving a Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS)-Behavior framework as districts/charters support and improve student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes. This evidence-based framework improves school climate and is recommended by the Department of Education and US Secret Service to increase school safety.
District teams meet for coaching from Region 4 specialists and national leaders in MTSS, as well as networking with other district teams engaging in MTSS efforts. Resources are provided for developing, improving, and scaling up multi-tiered systems, such as those addressing mental health, social-emotional-behavioral health (SEB), and school safety.
The project utilizes the national district assessment tool: District Systems Fidelity Inventory to help districts align their work with other district initiatives, develop an annual action plan, as well as long term goals and action planning items to support sustainability and build district capacity.
