Join us to hear about designing campus-based behavioral systems utilizing a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) in the MTSS-Behavior Campus Coaching Collaborative. Participants will receive an overview of the project benefits and requirements. Participants will be able to ask questions and learn how to apply to participate.
The purpose of this project is to support campuses implementing a Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) - Behavior framework. This evidence-based framework improves student social-emotional-behavior and academic outcomes. MTSS-Behavior is recommended by the Department of Education and US Secret Service to improve school climate and decrease the likelihood of targeted violence.
Campus teams receive coaching, training, resources, and networking opportunities with other campus teams engaging in efforts to build capacity and sustainability. Supports and resources are provided for developing, improving, aligning, and scaling up with other multi-tiered systems, such as those addressing mental health, social-emotional-behavioral health (SEB), and school safety.
The project aligns TEA's Effective Schools Framework, specifically, Lever 3: Positive School Culture, with the work done by campuses and districts for comprehensive and cohesive improvement objectives, as well as T-TESS and T-PESS Domains.
