Speech-Language Pathologists will learn evidence-based practices for working with students.


Important Session Information:



  • This course is designed to provide practical strategies to help speech-language pathologists (SLPs) navigate the first few weeks of the school year and set themselves up for success. With a focus on streamlining the therapy planning process and facilitating more meaningful outcomes for students, SLPs will walk away with practical tips and strategies to "work smarter" as they head back to school.

    Participants who register and attend this session will receive a one-year membership to SLP Now ($249 value). SLP Now is a membership-based application designed to streamline therapy planning for SLPs. The membership includes access to a library of therapy materials, planning tools, and a community of like-minded SLPs for support.

    Marisha Mets, M.S., CCC-SLP will be presenting this course.

    Course Objectives: As a result of this presentation, the participant will be able to complete the following:

    1. Identify three productivity strategies to strategically navigate the first few weeks of the school year.
    2. Formulate a therapy plan for the first few weeks of the school year.
    3. Describe a protocol for effectively collecting student data in groups.
    4. Identify three evidence-backed treatment strategies to facilitate meaningful outcomes for students.

This is an introductory course, and participants will receive .3 CEUs.
