Leveraging the Science of Reading for Effective Small Groups





The science of reading is transforming our reading practices, but to provide effective small group reading instruction educators must be knowledgeable practitioners that merge the new with the tried-and-true instructional practices that have proven to improve student outcomes. This session will cover grouping students, identifying an instructional focus based on student needs, and provide example lesson frameworks for primary and intermediate small groups.
