Review current national, state, regional, and local information on assessment, individualized evaluation of students for eligibility for special education and related services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), therapy techniques and service delivery models in the area of speech/language pathology, and best practices in counseling and psychological services as related services. Participants will discuss recent updates, examine trends and issues, and network with other professionals. Attendees will have the opportunity to take information back to their Local Education Agency (district/charter) to share for implementation.
This Leadership Network is limited to participants who have been designated by their superintendents. Session materials are partially funded through state and federal grants.
