Simplifying Small Group Instruction in Science





Explore strategies for effectively implementing small-group instruction in science classrooms. By the end of the session, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the advantages of small-group instruction, learn how the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) support small-group practices, understand the use of formative assessments to inform grouping decisions, be prepared to incorporate the new STAAR item question types into their small-group lessons and acquire practical strategies for effectively managing time to accommodate small-group instruction within their busy classroom schedules.
