Phonics and Spelling and Fluency Oh, My! (Virtual)

Do your students have difficulty with reading and writing fluency? Follow me down the yellow brick road making stops along the way to visit the six syllable types, phonics rules, and spelling rules that will aid student success in reading and writing fluency. Hands on activities will be explored and participants will have an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues on how to successfully implement these activities in the classroom. The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) ELA vertical alignment K-3 will drive our learning. Grab your ruby slippers and join us on a journey to understanding the rules of the English language!
