The Strategic Support Plan (SSP) is a tool used annually as part of the LEA's continuous improvement process to prioritize essential program elements, timelines, milestones, metrics, and task owners. When implemented with fidelity, the SSP assists in identifying district goals to support root causes of low performance related to RDA determination levels.
This session assists districts in understanding and implementing best practices for identifying priority areas, developing problem statement(s), conducting a root cause analysis, and defining annual goal(s). Technical assistance will be provided by Region 4 education specialists to assist participants with identifying appropriate implementation strategies for their LEA.
District Coordinators for School Improvement (DCSI) are encouraged to attend with their District Leadership Team (DLT) to help with the identification and facilitation of the SSP process.
