Putting 3D Science into Practice
Grades 3-5





Experience 3D science lessons that include scientific and engineering practices, recurring themes and concepts, and content. Discuss the impact of students engaging in and doing science, the connections they should make as they are learning, and the concepts they need to not only deeply comprehend but also retain over time. Observe how lesson internalization allows teachers to plan for effective questioning, potential barriers, and how a lesson is designed to enhance student achievement.

Important Session Information:



This session will include content from Force, Motion, and Energy. We'll work through science lessons discussing 3-dimensional teaching and learning, how scientific and engineering practices are woven throughout a lesson, and the connections we can make through recurring themes and concepts.
