In this session, we explored the connection between Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and the Five Evidence-Based Practices of Classroom Management, emphasizing how a well-managed classroom supports students’ well-being and academic success. By implementing these evidence-based classroom management strategies in alignment with Maslow’s hierarchy, educators create an environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed. A well-managed classroom not only supports behavioral expectations but also nurtures students’ holistic development, allowing them to reach their full potential.
