The Role of Behavior in Universal Design for Learning
Classroom Management
Share
This session explores how student behavior intersects with the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Participants will examine the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and how they can be addressed through proactive instructional design. By focusing on engagement, representation, and action/expression, educators can create environments that minimize barriers to learning and reduce the need for reactive behavioral interventions. The session will highlight practical strategies to support emotional regulation, motivation, and positive classroom behavior through a UDL lens.
