Supporting Homeless Students in Charter Schools





Charter schools often face unique challenges in supporting students and families experiencing homelessness. This session will explore best practices for identifying and supporting homeless students enrolled in charter schools. Participants will learn about key provisions of the McKinney Vento Act and how they apply to charter schools. Attendees will also have the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss strategies for building strong partnerships with community organizations and local agencies to support homeless students.
