Accountability for Emergent Bilingual Students: From Systems to Applications





This session is designed for campus or district administrators who want to deepen their understanding of how the current accountability system reflects and supports student outcomes for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Participants will explore how A–F Accountability and Results Driven Accountability (RDA) systems are structured to highlight student performance and reinforce a high-quality academic experience for EB learners—through targeted indicators, weighting, and performance expectations. The session includes a review of relevant methodologies and data sources, with opportunities to connect accountability metrics to instructional and programmatic practices that are compatible across contents and promote growth and achievement for EB students.
