Participants will build on training from Restorative Practices Module 1 and Module 2. The training will provide clear notes, real-life examples, and detailed explanations to model effective implementation of a Re-Entry Circle. In addition, participants will learn to provide support and services for the student(s) that are transitioning back into the educational setting, how to write an Accountability Agreement using SMART Goals, how to monitor the Accountability Agreement with weekly check-ins, and to connect student(s) with a trusted adult on campus.
Objectives:
To provide participants with the basic foundational skills and knowledge of implementing a Tier 3 circle, which is to help students re-integrate back into an educational setting after a long absence.
- Participants will learn to provide support and services for the student(s) that are transitioning back into the educational setting.
- Participants will learn how to write an Accountability Agreement using SMART Goals.
- Participants will monitor the Accountability Agreement with weekly check-ins.
