This session equips district administrators with the knowledge and tools to use resource mapping as a strategy for aligning initiatives, maximizing efficiency, and strengthening Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) implementation. Resource mapping provides a structured process to identify existing programs, services, and personnel, evaluate their alignment with district priorities, and uncover gaps or redundancies that impact student outcomes.
Participants will be introduced to a Region 4-developed resource mapping tool and will have the opportunity to begin the mapping process with their own district data. Through guided application, collaborative feedback, and coaching support, administrators will learn how to engage district teams in mapping resources across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains to ensure a coordinated, equitable system of support. The session includes auditing districtwide programming to determine outcomes, and ensure a positive impact on student achievement and school climate.
