Designing and Implementing Effective Evidence-Based Discipline Systems and Practices with Fidelity for Administrators

Strong, evidence-based discipline systems are essential for creating safe, predictable, and supportive learning environments where all students can succeed. In this session, administrators will learn how to design, refine, and sustain discipline systems and practices that are proactive, effective, and grounded in data-based decision making.

Participants will have dedicated time to examine real-world examples, assess their current campus systems, and begin developing or updating their own discipline systems. This work is foundational to implementing MTSS at the campus level and directly supports improved social-emotional-behavioral (SEB) and academic outcomes for students.

Aligned with the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) 3.0, the national fidelity assessment for MTSS implementation, this session equips administrators with practical strategies and tools to strengthen discipline systems, ensure alignment with MTSS-Behavior/PBIS frameworks, supports campus improvement plans, and build systems that are data-driven, efficient, and sustainable.
