Stop the Bleed
Share
This course, based on the nationally recognized program developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), empowers everyday citizens to become immediate responders in a bleeding emergency. Trauma is the leading cause of death for individuals under 46, and uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death after an injury. In this virtual class, you will learn simple, life-saving techniques to control bleeding until professional medical help arrives. The techniques covered are applicable to everyday accidents, natural disasters, and mass casualty events.
