This full-day professional development is designed for world language teachers who are new to acquisition-driven instruction (ADI). Participants will build a foundational understanding of how students acquire language through meaningful, comprehensible input. The training will focus on using the target language in class while making it accessible, compelling, and focused on communication. Teachers will explore a simple framework to design lessons that move naturally from input to output and align with LOTE standards. The day will end with practical, low-prep CI strategies that teachers can use immediately to increase engagement and support student growth.
