McKinney-Vento 101 (online)





Are you new to working with students and families experiencing homelessness?  Do you need a refresher in McKinney-Vento?  This session will provide you the key components of the McKinney-Vento law.  The roles and responsibilities of LEAs and McKinney-Vento liaisons will be reviewed so quality support can be offered to students experiencing homelessness. The key components of identification, enrollment and access will be addressed, in addition to outlining the dispute resolution process.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with the presenter and fellow attendees through a question and answer period.
