AI Literacy and Ethics: Guiding Students Toward Responsible Use





Artificial intelligence (AI) offers incredible learning opportunities when used responsibly and transparently. In this interactive session, educators will explore strategies for teaching students how to use AI tools ethically, cite AI-generated content properly, and critically evaluate AI outputs. Participants will examine classroom-ready examples of student-friendly AI guidelines and learn how to model ethical decision-making when using generative tools. Through discussions and hands-on practice, teachers will discover how AI can enhance student creativity, research, and writing while maintaining academic honesty. Educators will leave with classroom resources, prompt templates, and citation examples that help students use AI responsibly and confidently
