Speech Contest ( School Bus Safety)

The School Bus Safety Speech Contest is for students in 9th through 12 grades. Contestants will research write and give a speech based on the current theme. The winners from the regional contest will be eligible for scholarship money and to compete in the State Speech Contest.
Important Session Information:
Students in grades 9–12 are invited to participate in this year’s Speech Contest, where they will share powerful messages about the importance of school bus safety. Contestants should explore how safe transportation impacts their daily lives, their community, and the well-being of students across the state. Speeches may address topics such as responsible behavior on and around the bus, the role of drivers and transportation staff, awareness of safety laws, or innovative ideas to improve school transportation. The goal is to inspire others, raise awareness, and promote a culture of safety. Winning participants will be awarded scholarships to support their educational pursuits.
