Today’s classrooms require more than academic instruction. Students must also develop the skills needed to manage emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions. When these skills are supported, students are more engaged, better able to regulate their behavior, and more prepared to succeed in school.
In this session, participants will explore the importance of helping students develop skills such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and collaboration. Educators will learn practical ways to support these skills through everyday classroom interactions, routines, and instruction, creating learning environments where students feel connected, supported, and ready to learn.
