Navigating McKinney-Vento: Practical Tools for Federal Program Leaders





Participants will examine guidelines and/or receive program support for federal and state mandates that will increase student performance.

Important Session Information:



Designed for Federal Program Directors and district leaders, this session provides a practical roadmap for implementing key McKinney-Vento requirements with confidence. Participants will examine the Homeless Eligibility Worksheet, review the purpose and value of the Homeless Needs Assessment, and clarify the critical responsibilities of the district Homeless Liaison. Through discussion and examples, attendees will strengthen their knowledge of compliance requirements while identifying strategies to improve district practices and cross-program collaboration.
