Instructional Leadership Development (ILD)

Acquire skills to facilitate continuous campus improvement. Topics include data-driven decision making, curriculum, instruction, assessment, developmental supervision, professional development, community partnerships/communication, organizational management, and evaluation. NOTE: ILD is a prerequisite for PDAS (Professional Development and Appraisal System). [TAC 241.15-SBEC Standards: (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h)] *ATTENTION: Effective January 1, 2008, individuals completing ILD training are required by the Texas Education Agency to pay a $75 certification fee. Effective March 1, 2009, Region 4 Education Service Center began collecting the certification fee along with the registration fee. Region 4 ESC will then pass the certification fee to the Texas Education Agency-authorized entity Region XIII. Upon completion of the training, the participant will be able to access and print the state of Texas ILD certification. *This certification fee is included in the $450 registration fee.
