Instructional Leadership and Development Online




ILD Online is a web-based course designed for participants to qualify for their state certification in Instructional Leadership and Development. The training is focused on data-driven decision making; curriculum, instruction and assessment; supervision; professional development; organizational management and community partnerships. The prerequisite for ILD is a valid teaching certificate and three years teaching experieince. Participants will follow a timeline in order to complete the course in a five week period. This process will include viewing online information and videos, posting comments to a conference board, submitting assignments and taking online tests. This course is a prerequisite for Professional Development and Appraisal System (PDAS).

Important Session Information:


ILD participants will register at Region 6, session 177261 and pay Region 6.  An account must be set-up with Region 13 in order to activate the course.  Click on Register for a workshop, set up an account, and click submit.  Click on Find a workshop and look for session  FA1430832.                . 







This ILD course is the pre-requisite to PDAS.  The course facilitator is Dorothy Yawn: dyawn@esc6.net or 936-435-8304.  The course requires posting of assignments.  The course opens on August 28, 2014.  Registration ends on January 23, 2015.  The course ends on February 27, 2015.  Participants can work at their own pace and generally this a 5 week course.
