Making Sense of Science Planet Earth Day 4: Geosphere

Participants will learn about rock and mineral matter and how they relate to one another. Teachers will explore the interactions that form sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rock as well as fossils. Design and evaluation of models will be a focus to help determine the successful ways of teaching about the geosphere.
