Fostering Algebraic Thinking Day 2: Asking Questions of Students

Day 2 of Fostering Algebraic Thinking is designed to help teachers use both planned and spontaneous questions to foster algebraic thinking. This session will allow participants to engage in mathematical problems which elicit different aspects of algebraic thinking, develop a class plan for using these problems, and observe another teacher’s class as students work on the mathematical problems.
