Fostering Algebraic Thinking Day 4: Listening to Students

Day 4 is designed to give teachers the chance to explore strategies that can increase their understanding of students’ algebraic thinking. Participants will engage in mathematical problems which elicit different aspects of algebraic thinking, listen to interviews of several students working on these problems, and engage in collaborative analysis of these interviews to uncover issues of algebraic thinking.
