Teaching Student Centered Mathematics Day 3: Developing an Interactive Environment
Share
What is basic in mathematics is as simple as this: Math makes sense! Every child in his or her own way can come to believe this. Students must develop this understanding, or construct their own knowledge in a meaningful way. Their understanding and confidence will grow as a result of being engaged in doing mathematics. In this session, teachers will be engaged in activities in a thoughtful, interactive environment where the best opportunities for learning can occur.
