Assessment for Learning Day 2: Questioning in Practice, Reflective Discussion, and Developing Student Ideas

Using questioning effectively is a developed skill for all educators. Participants will practice the creation of open and closed ended questions to encourage science practices. Science talk will be viewed, participated in, and evaluated to develop a powerful formative assessment tool to add to the instructor's toolbox. Reflective collaboration, developing student ideas, and providing useful feedback will round out this two day workshop series.
