Foundations of Computer Science for Teachers Day 6: Technology Applications

Technology applications is a component of learning about the power of computers.  It encompasses the state standards that are required for students on all levels of learning when taking a computer course.  One of the requirements needed by the learner is to think creatively as well as implement innovative processes to construct knowledge to generate new ideas and products.  Another specification may ask participants to collaborate and communicate both logically and globally to reinforce and promote learning.  All in all, it is expected that critical-thinking and problem-solving skills be used while also maintaining digital citizenship, ethical behavior, and safe practices by users.  During this lesson, each of these items will be explored and reinforced.
