Exploring Mathematics Through Literature Day 1: Books Can Enhance Mathematical Learning




As using children's books to teach mathematics has become more popular, interest has grown not only with the books themselves but also in how to effectively use them. Participants will learn how different authors have used specific books to help students learn mathematics. The purpose of the workshop is to highlight different qualities inherent in the books that affect how they can be used in teaching mathematics.
