Computer Science Framework Day 4: Guidance and Implementation

The K–12 Computer Science Framework is designed to serve as a foundation from which all states, districts, and organizations can develop a computer science education program for students. Standards play a vital role in achieving the desired vision.  Norms are an essential component of a larger education plan and can provide a foundation with which to align other components, such as curriculum, instruction, professional development, and assessment, to better prepare students for success in college and the workplace.  They may also offer inspirational starting points to create projects, lessons, and activities for teachers.  In this session, participants will address these factors so that a progressive pathway may be created for learners.
