Forum for Staff Serving Students with Visual Impairments
Working with Technology for Students with Visual Impairments




The Regional Plan of Services for Students with Visual Impairments establishes these forums. They are used to inform certified teachers of students with visual impairments and Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists of information from TEA and other agencies serving students with visual impairments. Topics such as legal issues, updates of the regional plan, and current information in the field of visual impairments will be discussed.

Important Session Information:


We will take care of VI Forum business at the beginning of our session. Jim Sullivan with Humanware will be providing instruction on the Mountbatten Whisperer Learning System and the Prodigi Connect 12 v2. You may want to see the new Mountbatten since there have been changes. Please bring your Prodigi with you so we can work together in pairs. The Prodigi has become very popular and useful to our population of students. Please join us whether or not you have a Mountbatten or a Prodigi. Lunch will be served at our ESC.
