Enhancing Story Time: A Preschool Make and Take

Are you interested in enhancing story time instruction through the use of interactive tools and strategies? If so, this make and take workshop is for you! Reading aloud to children is the one component of balanced literacy that builds the essential framework for reading. Participants will learn interactive activities that will increase the ability of students to understand and make connections to the story through the use of videos, handouts, and colorful patterns. The tools and strategies presented will be based on the following books: Pond Circle, Little Quack, Near One Cattail, Turtle Splash, Bugs, Bugs, Bugs and Ten Wiggly, Wiggly Caterpillars.
