Assistive technology is integral to improving the lives of individuals with functional impairments and disabilities. Participants will explore a holistic framework that highlights the strengths and challenges of individuals, the available technology and the lifestyle integration considerations used when conducting assistive technology assessments. Participants will learn about the OCTOPUS Framework and how it can be used to determine appropriate assistive technology to meet the varied needs of students.
