Family Survey and Data Management Overview
Migratory Farmworker Child Eligibility and Data in a Nutshell Available via Distance Learning

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires all school districts to identify migrant students residing within their boundaries.  The TEA requests that districts collaborate with their education service center in the identification and recruitment of migratory children and to encode the children into the migrant database.  In this session, we will suggest some effective ways to collaborate with ESC6 specifically regarding the family survey and the exchange of migrant student data.
Important Session Information:

What is a family survey and what do we do with it?   We will answer this question and more! Designees to oversee the district’s collaboration with the ESC are encouraged to attend, both novice and experienced alike. Campus personnel who work with the survey can benefit from this opportunity as well.  This session will be available to attend at the Education Service Center Region 6 in Huntsville, as well as via Distance Learning (DL) or mobile device. If you are planning to view via DL or mobile device indicate this during registration by selecting "Participate via Distance Learning".  Registered participants can join 30 minutes before each session begins.  Participants will not be allowed to join the session 15 minutes after the session begins. For connectivity related inquiries, please contact our Interactive Video Conferencing Department at ivcteam@esc6.net or 936-435-8212.
