Cultural Diversity for LSSPs, LPCs, and Psychologists

In this half day training, Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and Psychologists will learn from Dr. Chuck Schaefer, an experienced LSSP, about factors that place culturally diverse learners at risk for special education identification.  Specific considerations and procedures to consider prior to a special education evaluation will be discussed.  Administering and interpreting assessments during a special education evaluation for a culturally diverse student will also be presented.
