In this half day training, participants will learn from Dr. Charles Schaefer, LSSP, about factors that place culturally diverse learners at risk for special education identification. Specific considerations and procedures to consider prior to a special education evaluation will be discussed. Administering and interpreting assessments during a special education evaluation for a culturally diverse student will also be presented.
