Classroom Management: Maximizing the Instruction and the Environment in Pre-K and Kindergarten Classrooms

This workshop will provide teachers with a variety of strategies to help manage the day to day activities of the preschool and kindergarten classroom.  We will discuss the importance of effectively setting up the classroom, ways to tweak daily schedules to maximize instructional time, and emphasize the necessity of enforcing consistent classroom rules and procedures.  Strategies for planning and organizing lessons and materials, managing transitions, setting up effective learning centers, and managing challenging behaviors will be discussed.  This workshop will be a great refresher for seasoned teachers and will be an invaluable opportunity for newer teachers!
