The Childhood Autism Rating Scale- Second Edition (CARS-2) published by Western Psychological Services (WPS) has become one of the most widely used and empirically validated Autism assessments. The CARS-2 has proven especially effective in discriminating between children with Autism and those with significant cognitive deficits.
During this one-day training, conducted by Dr. Jan Schaefer, BCBA-D and CEO of Collaborative Autism Resources Education, LLC (C.A.R.E., LLC), participants will learn how the CARS-2:
- Expands the clinical value of the test
- Retains the simplicity, brevity, and clarity of the original test
- Adds forms and features that help integrate diagnostic information
- Uses three forms (Standard, High Functioning and Parent/Caregiver Questionnaire)
