Professional development in Spanish for bilingual teachers in grades PK-1 working with Spanish literacy




Explore highly effective approaches for structuring, planning and facilitating a language-rich classroom. Learn helpful ways to integrate both content and language standards into instruction. Participants will acquire knowledge and skills for developing Spanish literacy in the bilingual classroom.

 


Important Session Information:


Dr.Patricia Morales from ELL Services, Inc. will be here for a this full-day training which has been developed in Spanish and covers all areas of early Spanish literacy, such as phonological and phonemic awareness, graphophonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension and written expression. Activities align to PK-1 essential knowledge and skills. This workshop, presented in Spanish, is for teachers who teach Spanish literacy.
