Recognizing the Characteristics and Supporting the Needs of Dyslexic Students

Many myths are associated with dyslexia. Come join us as we learn fact and debunk common myths about dyslexia. The topics covered in the workshop will include an in-depth study of the definition and characteristics of dyslexia. We will also discuss accommodations and review Texas law and guidelines included in the Dyslexia Handbook. A demonstration of comprehension strategies for classroom and home use will be covered.
