E-Rate and State Matching Funds for Special Construction

Target Audience: E-rate Applicants Seeking State Matching Funds for Special Construction for Funding Year 2017 and Funding Year 2018 Comments: With the E-rate application window shrinking, TEA will share important tips for to help insure that your district's application for Federal and State Matching Funds are approved for Funding Year 2018 and state match. State matching funds will only remain available for Funding Year 2018. The state matching funds expire on August 31, 2019. If your district is seeking federal and state matching funds, you must apply during the 2018 E-rate filing window. This videoconference will be made available through the TETN network and the 20 regional education service centers. District may connect normally to the conference. Districts may be able to connect to the conference remotely via a smartphone application. Check with your ESC to determine which smartphone application is necessary for this type of connection.
