Mini-Academy to Prepare for the ESL TExES Exam

This training academy is designed to assist certified teachers seeking to take the English as a second language supplemental TExES exam. During this intensive workshop participants will receive an overview of the competencies to be tested, the test item formats, and pertinent study resources. This session will address the domains of Language Concepts/Language Acquisition: ESL Instruction and Assessment, Foundations of ESL Education, Cultural Awareness, and Family and Community Involvement. Participants planning on taking the exam need to be sure that they have met the registration deadline and registered for the correct test. (English as a Second Language (ESL) Supplemental exam).

Important Session Information:

This session will be held onsite in Conroe ISD at Oak Ridge High School 9th Grade Campus, 27310 Oak Ridge School Rd., Conroe, TX 77385

This training will review for the ESL Supplemental test. To register for this exam, English as a Second Language Supplemental (ESL) test #154, www.texes.ets.org.
