The flipped classroom has recently gained increased interest among educators as an effective instructional method for improving interaction and personalized contact time between students and teachers. At its core, flipped learning moves elements of teaching out of the classroom and into the homework space.
On day one, participants will experience a flipped lesson and discover the benefits of a flipped classroom for their students. Using the book, Flip Your Classroom, participants will determine how to address questions and concerns from students, parents, and administrators regarding this dynamic shift in their classroom. The book, written by two award-winning educators, has assisted teachers all over the country in paving the way for flipped classrooms.
